Ahlsell acquires the Finnish operations of electrical wholesaler Rexel

Rexel Finland Oy is a major electro-technical supplies wholesaler in Finland, with a strong position as an industry expert. With a long-standing presence in the market, the company is recognised as one of the leading distributors o􀆯ering a wide range of electrical products and solutions for installers, industry, utilities, marine, and other B2B customers. Rexel operates 26 stores across Finland and employs over 300 people. In 2024, the company’s revenue exceeded 250 million euros.

Ahlsell’s robust scale, vast network and operational capability would unlock new opportunities for both companies. With significant opportunities in the market, the combined strengths of Ahlsell and Rexel Finland would build a stronger foundation to better serve customers in the region.

The completion of the transaction is subject to regulatory approval. The acquisition is expected to be completed by the end of the second quarter of 2025.
